Flandreau Indian School in Flandreau, South Dakota, established an eSports program this academic year in response to student interest in the extracurricular activity.

The club aims to nurture collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity while instilling good sportsmanship. Staff and students are excited about the new initiative.

The school recently completed an eSports arena, equipped with 10 gaming computers and two console systems. The students have been using them at maximum capacity since the installation was completed.

Participation reflects broad student engagement. In the upcoming school year, Flandreau plans to establish a competitive team to represent the school at regional competitions.
